And Another One Bites The Dust

June 15th, 2013 by Jane Heller

I wish I could think of something cheery to write about tonight’s loss to the Angels, but it looked very much like the other games in this losing streak: not enough offense. The only difference was losing Tex too, but then we never really had him. He came off the DL and wasn’t much help in the RBI department. Thankfully, the Yankees held onto Overbay.

Will we ever win another game? Of course. Maybe even tomorrow. What’s changed for me is I’m starting to want A-Rod back. Couldn’t hurt.

I can’t stand runner on third and no outs (not to mention one out) and we can’t score. I started thinking we need a rod and I don’t even like him. This is a hard team to watch now but I suppose it’s easier because I’m not expecting much. At least west coast losses are usually ones I don’t see much of. This has to turn around some day. Right?

It’ll turn around, Barbara. It’s not like they’ll never win another game. That said, this isn’t exactly a championship caliber team right now.
