TOO precious, and TOO funny!
Wonder what quotes they’d dig up for Carter, Ford, and for LBJ…but I’ll leave that to the “teachers”…

I don’t remember Carter, Ford or LBJ having famous lines, Dave. But the kid sure does cover the ones I do remember.

Well…since nobody ELSE has posted a comment, and you’re still workin’ on your next post…you’re stuck with me again.
You’ve issued me a polite challenge, so I’ll try to make an appropriate reply.
For President Jimmy, there was his quote about “lust in his heart.” At least it’s of higher character than the REST of our executive lechers!
For President Jerry — your political memory is surely vastly superior to mine — but wasn’t he the one who said “our long national nightmare is at an end”…? Yeah, but that’s too gloomy for a kid to learn, even if it’s right; er, I mean, correct. Maybe something funny about a pardon…?
As for LBJ — that lying crook (OOPS; sorry for the opinion) — remember how he’d always drawl: “Mah fullow Amurricuns” — ?? Back in the day, when I knew nothing, that seemed memorable enuf to quote!
